How Are Standoffs Installed?

Standoff signs are a modern signing option which creates a lasting, professional impression on your customers. Standoffs are made in slightly different ways than traditional signs, but the process is easy to explain with a few simple steps.

When an individual is mounting a standoff sign, they begin with an image. The image is mounted securely to the wall or threaded between two pieces of standoff sign glass. Regardless of the mounting option, the image should be flat and centered in the appropriate area.

After the image is placed, the sign hardware must be assembled. Anchors are inserted into the mounting surface and used as a port for the bolt and barrel pieces. The studs are threaded through the pre-drilled holes in the mounting glass. Tubes are threaded onto each of the studs on the outside surface of the glass. Washers are threaded onto each of the studs on the inside surface of the glass. The studs are then tightened into the barrels until the glass is level and secure. Caps are attached to each stud to create a polished, finished appearance.

When your standoff sign is installed, you can sit back, relax and enjoy your new display.
